Shop Stories

For some, their local shop is church. It’s where they first set their stance, and started their crusade. It’s the place you can go and feel at peace, ogle the latest mag or watch the newest video. In 500 words or less, tell us about your local snowboard shop and how they have influenced your life. Submit by December 10, 2011 and you could win a Burton snowboard and see your work in the February issue of frequency The Snowboarder’s Journal.

Official Rules and Guidelines:

- In 500 words or less tell us why you love your local snowboard shop and how they have had an impact on your life.

- Official deadline is 11:59 pm PST, December 10, 2011.

- Winner will be selected by January 1, 2012.

- Include pictures if you want, but not necessary.

- Take your time and use proper grammar and punctuation.
